Timmy and I celebrated our 10 months at Cook Hall.
We been to a number of restaurants around Atlanta in the 10 months that we have been together, and Cook Hall is tied at our favorite spot with Lure. Everything was perfect - from service, to the atmosphere, to the quality of ingredients and taste.
We started with drinks - a beer for him, and a ginger margarita for me. We shared a small plate of deviled eggs with blue crabs. These are flavors that I can resist - egg mixed with a creamy and fishy flavor. Then, we shared a side of caramelized cauliflower hummus that blew my mind away. I am telling you, if you can serve your vegetables right, then you win. For entree, I chose the red snapper sandwich with spicy mayo. Tim also had a sandwich, and he said it was the best he’s ever had. So, whoa. We ended our meal with a pineapple upside-down cake with basil ice cream. Basically, this meal was one of the best I have ever had.
Thank you for the lovely evening. I love you, Timothy!
"Most humans are never fully present in the now, because unconsciously they believe that the next moment must be more important than this one. But then you miss your whole life, which is never not now."
